Fantastic Amazonian telling of Wonder Woman, who I’ve never followed nor read. Thompson weaves Ancient Grecian lore (namely Circe, her Gods, and the creatures of myth) with modern day heroics and creates comics magic in the process. I love the WW she has created, who is half myth and half human, wielding an enormous anime sword and riding a skeletal horse. It’s an almost perfect mix and each issue brings fresh mythos both old and new.
