Classic low-budget, low-fi, witty indie cinema, bobbling through the early days of a woman finding her life. Sharply shot and sharply observed. Interesting to think how Gerwig co-wrote this and ended up directing Barbie: obviously a totally different style of movie but her themes and concerns remain remarkably similar.
