A semi-noir lesbian-gangster thriller, probably a unique combo? Tilly is in full black & white mode, Gershon vamps it up appropriately, and Pantoliano hangs it all together as a manic wise-guy. Amazing to think the next film The Wachowskis made was The Matrix - it’s hard to see the transition from this (a formula pot-boiler) to that.
