Thompson weaves Ancient Grecian lore (namely Circe, her Gods, and the creatures of myth) with modern day heroics and creates comics magic in the process. I love the WW she has created, who is half myth and half human, wielding an enormous anime sword and riding a skeletal horse. It’s an almost perfect mix and each issue brings fresh mythos both old and new.
