The characterisation is newish, making Batman a lot more human and a lot less Dark Knight, but it’s still Batman, and the confusion of wild characters and idiotic criminals feels a bit like a photocopy. But the love interest angle is nicely done, and there’s an intriguing new villain in amongst the regulars. Alas after six issues I was ready to abandon this series and then…
